We only work with feminized seeds for one simple reason:

When hash-makers plant 50,000 regular seeds, about 50% will be males. In large-scale outdoor operations, many growers don’t remove these males in time, which means the female plants get pollinated. Once pollination happens, the plants shift their energy toward producing seeds instead of resin. The end result? Lower quality hash, lower yields, and a less potent product.
Even though the seeds produced from this type of pollination might be viable, the overall resin quality drops. That said, in outdoor cultivation, it’s impossible to fully control pollen travel—pollination will happen to some degree due to airborne pollen from neighboring farms or wild plants.
